More 3025 Combat Screenshots
Submitted by Grond on 3 January 2009 - 11:04pm.
A few new screenshots of various combat situations in the EA version of 3025.
These images are from various stages of the EA beta, some of the functionality was not implemented in the player interface.
The Futurelooks images are from third-person point of view, I'm not sure if those were released by EA or were snapped within the game. At one point, the observer view was not available.
Storm Report Archives - Ultimate Pilots Championship
Submitted by Grond on 30 December 2008 - 12:14pm.When 3025 was significantly delayed during 1998 and 1999, the Kesmai staff, in conjuction with the player community, developed various Solaris-based tournaments and strategic simulations to tide over the player base until 3025 was completed. (We know how that ended up!)
One of the most popular tournaments was the Ultimate Pilots Championship, a bracket-style tournament for teams and individuals. One of the first winning teams was from DRAAGUN, a top-caliber Solaris unit.
Below is an interview with the DRAAGUN team, as originally posted on GameStorm.

Submitted by Grond on 24 December 2008 - 12:45am.In 3025, gaining control of planets was one of the primary strategic and logistical goals of the game. House Militaries and Game Balance in 3025
Submitted by Grond on 10 December 2008 - 11:36pm.In MPBT:3025, each House's military contained five divisions which were sub-divided with each having five brigades. Each brigade contained four regiments, for a total of 100 regiments per House.
While the FASA universe had a different sized military for each House, game balance required equal factors for all Houses.
Regiments within the Houses were drawn from historical FASA units and supplemented by Kesmai-created units to balance the 100-regiment requirement for each House in 3025.
